WHAT IS VEGANISM?
“Veganism is a way of life that seeks to exclude, to the extent practicable and practicable, all forms of exploitation and cruelty to animals, whether for food, clothing or any other purpose. From vegan junk food to raw vegans – and everyone else in between – there is a version of veganism for all tastes, but one thing we all have in common is a plant-based diet, free of all animal foods like meat, dairy, eggs and honey, as well as products such as leather and any animal-tested product. “
Definition created by The Vegan Society of England, the oldest vegan entity in the world.
Vegan – or vegan – is therefore the person who practices veganism, not contributing to the suffering of animals.
